Overview

I am a PhD student applying machine learning methods to both the production and analysis of Bose-Einstein condensates in Robert Smith’s group. I also lead tutorials in atomic and laser physics for undergrads at Worcester College.

I attended the University of Stuttgart for my master’s degree with a Max Planck Research School fellowship. My master’s thesis was completed in Tilman Pfau’s institute where I worked with Tim Langen on laser cooling diatomic molecules.

Before becoming interested in atomic, molecular, and optical physics, I worked with Christoph Niemann and Derek Schaeffer on high energy density plasma physics and spent time at DataRay Inc. as a Research Scientist where I focused on laser beam profiling algorithms.
